My 5 STAR review:
This was another Lani Lynn Vale book that I couldn’t put down. I could not. I seriously read this book in a couple of hours.
I was sucked into the story, fell in love with the characters and was on the edge of my seat through all the twists and turns. Lani knows how to write a thrilling romance that will give you every single emotion…every time. She is one of my “auto-buy authors” because I have loved every thing she writes. Her writing is easy to read and follow, her characters are relatable and complex without being too complex, if you know what I mean, and she writes stories that make you feel.
This book is sweet and steamy slow burn. The MMC, Auden, is protective, loyal and delicious. The FMC, Maven, is sweet, mature and a bit sassy. Together they are fire.
You also get additional glimpses of the other eligible Carter Brothers and I can’t wait for the next books! SOOOOO GOOD.
