Lani does it again! She has written another fast paced, absolutely delicious and captivating police romance.
This is the LAST of the Carter Brothers series and I am so sad to see it end. Did I force myself to read slow and try to savor each moment?! Yes. Did it work!? Not at all. Every time I put this book down, I picked it right back up again. I feel like I am part of the Carter family and each story was so good and unique.
In Yolo, the male main character (MMC) is Garrett and he is a sweet, alpha K9 police officer. Swoon! The female main character (FMC) is Bindi. I loved how strong, unique and funny Bindi’s character is! Bindi has multiple run ins/meetings with Garrett, the most noticeable is when she is hit on the head by a rock when hiking with her terrible fiancé and his family whom leave her behind! Garrett carries Bindi to safety but she is left blind due to the accident.
Life happens and they go their separate ways. Garrett ends up running into Bindi again and he can’t stay away this time even if he knows that he brings danger to Bindi’s life.
The tension, chemistry and steam is elite in this book. I loved every moment of Garrett and Bindi together…I was laughing out loud, swooning and grinning so damn much.
Lani always writes unique and interesting stories that makes it impossible to read her books slowly. I devour them just like this one… every single time. So so so GOOD!
