If You Need Me by Helena Hunting (4.5 Star Book Review) Hockey Romance

4.5 stars

Hockey romance, adult romance, enemies to lovers, workplace romance, one bed, he falls hard/is obsessed, she’s a PR professional, found family

Wow. The male main character/hockey player, Dallas, falls SOOOOOO HARD for Hemi and is obsessed. HERE FOR IT. He’s so obsessed that in trying to help her out he makes her life waaaaaay more complicated and difficult especially as a PR person. Fake dating turns to fake engagement so fast and makes for some delicious tension and hilarious and, sometimes, awkward moments. Again, HERE FOR IT.

Hemi, the female main character, is so relatable and easy to connect with…it made me fall in love with her! As a Marketing professional myself, I loved that she is the Hockey team’s PR person. And, of course, she has to manage the hockey players, including Dallas. Dallas and Hemi have a rough past history which makes the story even more interesting. They grew up together and Dallas wasn’t that nice of a person…he acted out alot to cover up his feelings. Poor Hemi was picked on alot and has learned to roll with the punches. I feel you girl!

Together they are enemies and “coworkers” that have to make things work…even when Dallas keeps messing up! Buckle up for this sweet, emotional and spicy romance!
