He’s obsessed/falls hard, heroine in danger, stalker, emotional/trauma
Umm…whoa. What did I just read!? So many emotions, suspense and craziness.
This book took me on a wild ride. Honestly, it made me feel unsteady for almost the whole book. I was nervous where the story was heading and I had an ick for one of the characters who I was suspicious of from the beginning. With that being said, I think Kelsey did an amazing job of making me feel these things. She excels at writing from the male main character’s POV, which this whole book is in his perspective. I really felt for him.
The MMC is Revan “Rev” and he has some pretty bad luck and deals with various unfortunate events in his life. He ends up having a best friend, Nate, who comes to his aid. Nate is an interesting character, I will leave it at that. IFKYK. Indigo Sky, aka Kate, the FMC, is a dancer at a club…the same club that Rev gets a job as a bouncer. The have a second chance encounter and have delicious and sweet chemistry. I just loved it when they were together and I craved their interactions.
This story kept me on the edge of my seat and nervous like I mentioned…it definitely surprised me. This isn’t a light and fluffy read in my opinion…it’s dark, intriguing and thrilling.
