WOW. This book was everything I want in an amazing romance. Delicious tension, steam and spice with a captivating plot that had me on the edge of my seat!
Being a famous singer has put Lilah’s life at risk and she has been in multiple unsafe situations that made her family, friends and record label concerned for her safety. She doesn’t quite understand or care about the danger and having bodyguards/being watched constantly is stifling and frustrating. She just wants to make her own choices and live her life.
Then walks in Killian who broke her heart saying he is going to keep her safe. Holy emotions!
The tension between her former love/new body guard is delicious! OMG. The things Killian says and demands had me panting. And the sass Lilah throws back had me grinning and laughing out loud.
Gah! The tension built between the two characters is HOT HOT HOT and had me on the edge of my seat. Kudos to Bella for that. And the suspense and unknowing possible danger elevates the whole story!
