My 4 Star Book Review:
I sobbed, kicked my feet in joy, fanned myself from the steam, grinned so dang much and had my heart broken and warmed. ALL THE FEELS.
This story hit HARD emotionally but I couldn’t stop reading it. Lani has a gift in writing such emotional, relatable and oh so captivating stories that I seriously can’t get enough of.
Creole, the female main characters, has had a rough life and has been through so many devastating moments but she still moves forward. Audric, the male main character, hasn’t had an easy life either but he doesn’t realize how much his once best friend, Creole, has been through. When secrets surface, their worlds are turned upside down yet again…will it push them away from each other like it always has or be the thing they need to come together?
This is a tough yet beautiful read. It’s also interesting, intriguing and had me on the edge of my seat.
I can’t get enough of Lani Lynn Vale.
