I listened to the ALC from Harlequin Audio via Netgalley. The narrators did amazing jobs! I absolutely loved both of them but the female narrator really hooked me and brought Paisley’s character to life.

WHAT A PERFECT BOOK FOR FALL!

Seriously. This book slapped. It had me captivated, on the edge of my seat, grinning, fanning myself, and shocked. I loved every moment.

The magical college setting really had me hooked…I could SEE and FEEL the deliciously dark and intriguing setting and it didn’t feel heavy in world building. Just perfect. The plot is captivating and had me hooked…I had to know what was going to happen next.

I love Jaymin’s writing. It’s easy to follow, paints vivid pictures and gives so many feels. I also really enjoyed Paisley’s inner commentary…realistic, funny and relatable!

And that ending/cliffhanger…what’s going to happen next!?
