Copy provided for an honest review.

This was the first book I read of the Spirits of Saoradh series – it can be read as a standalone.

When life keeps knocking you down and you are scraping to get buy, what would you do? If a woman drops off a spirit that can grant you any wishes you want, what would you wish for?

This is Tessa’s life. She is a nursery school teacher scraping to get by. Some days she chooses to pay bills over eating and some days she doesn’t do either. Tessa has to make some tough choices to survive. She has a rough life but everything changes when a woman drops off a spirit that can grant her wishes.

This was a new and refreshing paranormal/fantasy romance book to me. The plot and characters are well developed and very intriguing! I really enjoyed the “paranormal” aspects of the story. Logan being a handsome and pig-headed spirit (like a genie) who can grant wishes really hooked me into the story. How fresh and cool! Logan is also a bit of an alpha male and very protective- HOT!

Tessa is an average woman with a complex and difficult past. She is very relatable and her past/current circumstances forced me to connect with her. I felt heartbroken for her and wanted her to succeed. The mix of paranormal details seemed to be just about right. At first I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to immerse myself into the plot, and there were some difficult/slow times, but it pulled me in and overall it’s worth the slow moments! Caroline has a wonderful writing style that keeps the details flowing without becoming overbearing.

Logan and Tessa together are fantastic. They are funny, sometimes awkward, heartbreaking and heartwarming. I really enjoyed their interactions with each other. It was nice to see both of their perspectives and to see where they came from and how that made them the characters they are by the end of the story. Also the chemistry is hot!!!

Check out this steamy romance! Amazon link –
