Zane has come home from the military to finally reunite with his brothers after his father’s death. His brothers own the family bounty hunting business and won’t let Zane just stop in for a brief visit. They need a favor from him. Zane is not thrilled to be back and definitely not thrilled to be asked to do a favor…complete a job for the family business. He is asked to collect a woman who jumped bail. He doesn’t expect this woman to be gorgeous and fiery. She can try to keep running but he will not let her get away.

Iris has been dealt some really crappy situations in her life. After trying to make fast cash to better her and her younger sister’s lives, she doesn’t expect to get mixed up in the cartel…or get arrested…or have a hot bounty hunter out looking for her.

What a thrilling and fast paced read! I devoured this book in only a couple of hours!

I really enjoyed the whole idea of this book. Handsome bounty hunter vs the sexy woman on the run. This created a lot of hot chemistry, funny moments and awkward situations! This book has a captivating plot full of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. I really enjoyed the fun and sometimes awkward banter and conversations between Zane and Iris. Both of these characters are driven, stubborn and have secrets that they would prefer to not share with each other but with time it becomes too difficult to continue holding back. I do wish Zane and Iris would have had a little more back stories written out and “shown” to allow the reader to connect even more with them.

Overall, this book is very interesting and has some HOT HOT HOT scenes/chemistry.
