Adult Romance/Hockey Romance

Jared Rupp is on the NHL’s Chicago Aces hockey team and the owner of a sports bar and grill, Sin Bin. Sin Bin is the spot the team goes to hangout when not on the ice. When a sexy woman walks in the front door and starts to tell him everything wrong with his bar, he doesn’t know what to do. So of course, he hires her to make Sin Bin a cohesive and modern place that customers would enjoy. Working with her becomes difficult because all he wants to do is take her to his bedroom.

Sidney Frayne has been through hell. Her past relationships have not gone so well. When the handsome owner of Sin Bin and hockey player, Jared, hits on her, she must stay guarded. She knows he can have any woman he wants and she isn’t anything special.

If you like hockey romances, you will like this one! This book has twist and turns and some extremely sexy scenes that will keep you captivated. Both Jared and Sidney come from very different places in life. Sidney is learning to trust men after her failed relationship.  Jared is learning to settle down and have fun while enjoying life. Sidney helps him to realize that there is more than just one night stands and constant attention from “puck bunnies”.  She makes him feel.

I really enjoyed Kelly Jamieson’s past books but this one didn’t grab my attention as much as the others. I really enjoyed the beginning and then felt a lack of “direction” in the middle but the end pulled it back together! I did like Jared and Sidney’s personal stories/backgrounds and their growth throughout the book.

    1. I am not a big hockey fan but lately I have been digging some of the romances. This one was okay but I liked the others better! ❤
