KUDOS to Kennedy Fox (Brooke & Lyra)! I have never been someone to read and get into cowboy/southern romances BUT this book had me hooked. There is nothing wrong with cowboys or the sexy south romances, just never really something I gravitate too. Since I love Kennedy Fox’s other books, I HAD to read this one and BOY I am SO GLAD I did! This book brings HOT chemistry, a great story and two interesting main characters that I connected instantly with.
Let’s talk chemistry. HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT. You get the point. The chemistry between these characters was on point and helped to drive the story forward. Now…I won’t give too much away but this book is split into two parts. Part one brings the hot chemistry, an introduction to the characters and an instant connection. Part two brings in the captivating storyline and we get to know more about these characters, Alex and River.
Alex is the sexy and wild cowboy that enjoys his women and knows how to work hard on a farm. River is the determined and strong city girl who dedicates herself to helping others. These two are living in their own opposite worlds. They normally wouldn’t collide into each other but fate brings them together and takes them for a willed ride.
You can’t miss this captivating read! Kennedy Fox knows how to make a romance that is so intriguing, exciting and fun. I devoured this book in hours and now I can’t wait for the other Bishop Brother’s stories. They are going to be SO GOOD. You’ll see…you get to meet them in this book. EEEEKKK!
