This book is LIFE! It is everything I needed to read/hear right now!
Rachel Hollis is brutally honest and absolutely hilarious as she retells her life experiences, guiding the reader through her trials and tribulations. She lets the reader know all the “dirty details” to help encourage her message of self love and positivity. Each chapter brings a new topic/situation – some topics are harder than other but not any less important.
I was sucked into each each chapter and story Rachel tells. I seriously could NOT put the book down until I finished a chapter – there was no way I could stop in the middle! I was captivated by Rachel’s story telling, she pulled on ALL of my heartstrings. I felt every emotion with her. This is how I classify great writing!
This book left me feeling encouraged and strong as a woman. Many of the messages have stuck with me even days after finishing. Women need to read this! Although this is classified as “Christian”, Rachel does a wonderful job to include and encourage everyone. Yes, there are bible references and yes there are God references but at the same time, Rachel doesn’t force her beliefs at all. She wants all to experience her trials and tribulations whether you believe in God or not.
I highly encourage buying the hard copy of this book, it felt right to hold it in my hands and read a chapter a night before bed – just my suggestion!
