Glove Save by Teagan Hunter (5 STARS!)

Hockey Romance / Single Mom Romance

5 Stars

I can’t stop smiling. Greer and Stevie are just so dang cute!

There were many moments that I was grinning like a fool and laughing out loud while reading this book. I especially enjoyed the texting moments. Teagan knows how to craft hilarious, sarcastic and oh-so-relatable conversations, dialogue and texts with her characters. It makes the story SO GOOD and captivating.

I also really enjoyed the slow burn and building of the characters. You get glimpses of why Greer and Stevie act the way they do, and it helps make them very relatable and likeable.

Without giving too much away, I felt so bad for Stevie. Being a single mom, making ends meet, being a genuinely sweet and a protective mother…made it hard to see her struggling. And Greer. Oh Greer. I like that he isn’t completely natural around kids, yet he does a good job of interacting with Macie, Stevie’s daughter. (His interactions with Macie are awkward and hilarious too. This makes the story so fun.) I also enjoyed seeing him grow as a character. He is so cute and sexy!

This hockey romance does NOT disappoint. I enjoyed this book SO MUCH and devoured it so quickly.

Preorder now on Amazon! Comes out Feb. 23.
