Landry is a former military IED (bomb) specialist who found himself in a dangerous and almost fatal situation. Now he is a member of the SWAT team and a werewolf. As some of his coworkers/pack members start to find “The One” they are meant to be with, he questions whether there is someone for him. Then he meets an attractive woman at the bank that is being robbed, could she be “The One”?

Everly is beautiful and sweet woman who finds herself in a dangerous situation. Who knew that an afternoon errand to the bank would turn deadly!? Luckily the tall and handsome SWAT member, Landry, is there when the robbers bust in and saves her. Instantly she realizes that there is a strong attraction and connection with her rescuer.

The chemistry in this book is hot! I loved Landry and Everly together – their banter/conversations made me smile and laugh a lot. I also absolutely loved the paranormal aspect of Landry being a werewolf and Everly having no clue. In paranormal romance books, I worry that the paranormal aspects are going to be too cheesy and unbelievable – not this one! The great plot and characters sold it to me! I seriously couldn’t put this book down. I was constantly on edge and wanted to know how Everly would find out Landry’s secret and how she would react.

There is so much more to this story than the hot romance between the two main characters. Both characters are dealing with pasts that shaped them into the individuals they are. Landry has his past military experiences and Everly has her mother’s murder that play a huge role in the story.

I really enjoyed this read and cannot wait to read the other books in the series! Check this book out!!!
