Adult Romance

ARC provided for an honest review through NetGalley.
Although this can be read as a standalone, I would highly suggest reading the first book (The Strongest Steel – My review here) in this series (Second Circle Tattoos) because major events are followed up in this story.

Lia is the daughter of self-centered and arrogant politician. She has never fit into his “perfect American family” front/lifestyle. Her gorgeous pin up looks, tattoos and fiery spirit is too much for him and he can’t seem to handle her. Lia’s father makes her out to be the black sheep of the family when in reality she is a sweet woman who has a taste for the fun, girly pin up style. She is smart, creative and artistic. Although her father doesn’t agree with her choice in clothes and her job at Second Circle Tattoos as a tattoo artist, she lives her life the way she wants and knows what makes her happy. On her trip to a speaking event, on behalf of Second Circle, her car breaks down but luckily a gorgeous biker who happens to be a mechanic finds her! Little does she know, the biker is the lost sibling to one of her friends. Fate knows how to shake things up while bringing people together! Lia has some tough choices to make regarding her family and this new man that has come into her life.

Reid (Kenny) takes the blame for destroying his sister’s life and the only option he has left is to leave (under the demand of his father), so he left and did not turn back. Little does he know that the sexy pair of legs hanging out of the broken down car on the side of the road would lead him back to the pain and regret of hurting his family but ultimately leading him back to his family. Will they forgive him? Can he forgive himself?

This book is fun, thrilling, captivating and HOT! I really enjoyed the complex characters and detailed plot full of mystery! Lia is a sweet and smart woman with a backbone. Reid is a smart and caring alpha male. Together they will make you laugh out loud, grin ear to ear and give you all the feels. Both of these characters have detailed (and intense!) back stories that have made them the individuals they are in this story. Both of them have some flaws and issues they need to work through individually and together. One of the reasons I really enjoy these book is because of the fun characters. They are entertaining, relatable and most importantly realistic, making the story absolutely captivating. Also the plot in this story has many twists and turns that will take you for a ride! It’s not a just a romance …it’s a thriller and mystery, which is why I was engaged to the very end!

Releases tomorrow, Aug 30. Pre Order on Amazon.
