Adult Romance/Football (American) Romance

ARC provided for an honest review through NetGalley.

Jaxton is a player on and off the field. He is a successful kicker for the Carolina Cougars football team and he loves one night stands. When a new quarterback is traded into his team, he can’t help but to challenge the cocky new guy. What better way to teach this punk a lesson by hooking up with his sexy as hell sister!? What was a game has turned into something far more serious…

Bristol had her fill of football players and players in general. Learning from past relationships, she knows to stay clear. When she meets this handsome man in a bar, she has no clue who he is. Before she knows it, she starts to fall for him but he has many secrets. This will not end well.

I really liked this book! There are sexy football players, hot chemistry and lots of suspense! This book was very captivating from the beginning to the very end – it will take you on a ride. The only thing I wasn’t thrilled with was how predictable the plot was. I just knew what was going to happen and seemed to be one step ahead. This isn’t always a bad thing because I still HAD to see it all play out, I couldn’t put this book down.

Jaxton is a sexy bad boy who deserves love too. You can really see his emotional growth in this story and I really enjoyed that! He drove the plot and overall book for me. Although I didn’t like some of his choices, I really wanted him to win. I tend to side with the women in romance stories, but not in this one. Jaxton stole my heart. Don’t get me wrong, Bristol is a sweet and driven woman who knows what she wants. I liked her too. I really enjoyed her character but together, Jaxton and Bristol were on fire.

Overall this book has A LOT of hot chemistry, sexy banter and will take you for a ride!

Released December 6 – preorder on Amazon.
