I LOVED LOVED LOVED this book! It’s such a fun read that I could NOT put down!

Let me first say, I really enjoyed The Selection by Kiera Cass and thought I would like this book as well. To be clear, although it’s the same “game show/reality TV” theme where the main character is looking for their true love, it is a unique story. This book is an ADULT romance and of course, comes with LOTS of hot chemistry. YAAASSS! What makes this book a great and captivating read is the well-developed plot characters.

Let’s talk about Sarah. She is my favorite character in this book. Hands down. She is funny, witty, smart, sarcastic, driven and REALISTIC. She isn’t perfect but she has her head on straight and knows what she wants in life. Although she may be a little apprehensive to try new things and step out of her comfort zone, she does and she embraces it. I absolutely love her attitude when it comes to working hard and earning everything she has; she doesn’t take “handouts” and doesn’t need money and status to make her happy. She is the beautiful “girl next door”.

Evan is similar to Sarah because he too is a hard worker BUT he lets work consume his life. So much so that he doesn’t have any interest in dating to find a wife, hence why he must find one in the “game show” per his family’s instructions. Evan is the sexy and smart millionaire. What more could you want!?

Together, Evan and Sarah have amazing chemistry that kept me engaged in the story. I loved their funny and sometimes awkward banter/interactions. I couldn’t get enough of them! Of course, most stories have twists and turns and this one grabbed me by the heart. I think more so because I was so invested in Sarah. I could see myself being friends with her and I wanted her to succeed. Kudos to Lexi Foss for making such interesting and relatable characters!
