My Review

Wow. What the —!? What did I just read!?

Let me first say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE Ms. Zavarelli’s writing. (Check out the Boston Underworld series!) She is a master at writing dark subjects/scenes that will CRUSH you. Your heart will break, mend, break and mend again. What a ride! What makes these emotional stories so amazing is how Ms. Zavarelli crafts a world that is intriguing and thrilling. She consistently follows through with detailed and complex characters that must overcome extreme situations. Although these characters find themselves in unlikely situations many people would never encounter, she makes them relatable and easy to “connect” with.  Each of her characters have detailed reasons for their behaviors and choices – it’s so captivating as a reader to see them “grow” emotionally. SO GOOD.

Beast is a dark and twisted story of Beauty and The Beast. I loved “seeing” all the details that connect both stories. How fun and interesting!

Beast, one of the main characters, is not a nice man…he is a beast. Seriously. To fully understand where he is coming from, you have to read this book! Man oh man, it’s intense. Isabella is “beauty” aka Belle. She is a young, innocent girl untouched by the world. Everything changes when she is kidnapped by him. He is broken and he will break her too. First it began as revenge then turned into pleasure. With the world and reality spinning away, he won’t give up breaking her until she has nothing left.

Let’s be honest…there are moments that I didn’t want to read anymore BUT I couldn’t stop. I HAD to keep reading. Although sometimes unpleasant ad uncomfortable, this book made me FEEL. If you enjoy DARK ADULT romances, you have to check out this book.
