Colleen Hoover knows how to write a damn good story every. single. time! This book is no exception. Although this story strays from her typical “romances”, this book does have a romance element and yet so much more. This book is dark, DISTURBING and so well crafted.

Colleen’s writing is so easy to read and flows so well. I find it hard to NOT connect and want to devour each story in a couple hours. Her characters in this book are well developed and detailed. The plot has twists and turns that you will not see coming. SERIOUSLY! When I thought I had this book figured out – NOPE! I LOVE that about all her books including this one! I love being forced to see the other side, to embrace a twist and to be put into uncomfortable situations. This book was so unsettling and yet amazing. It’s really hard for me to get “creeped out” but this book had me spooked.
