👀 Creatures that go bump in the night are real… and the FBI doesn’t want anyone to know. 👀

People in Little Bluff, Arkansas are turning up dead with some of their internal organs missing and no one knows why, but Ellery Ross has her suspicions.

After her ex-partner and ex-fiancé turned in his badge and left her without an explanation two years ago, Ellery has dedicated every waking moment to the Classified Investigations Unit—an elite clandestine team made up of only a handful of highly specialized agents responsible for identifying and regulating supernatural creatures. Now she’s been assigned to her first solo case and she’s determined to figure out what’s going on.

But things start to heat up when she discovers her ex-fiancé Tommy Ortega is now working as a private investigator… and he’s investigating the deaths his own way.

As bodies begin to drop wherever Ellery goes, the two are forced to work together. Will her history with Ortega hinder the case and force old feelings to the surface? Or will the secrets the town is keeping tear their investigation—and what’s left of their relationship—apart?

They better act fast if they hope to solve the case before the next body falls…

SUPERNATURAL X CRIMINAL MINDS inspired story!
