Warning – death is a subject in this book. It is hard to read sometimes but this book is worth reading!

I don’t want to give away any of the plot to this book so I am skipping the summary section and jumping right into why I love this book but before…below is the blurb from Goodreads:

Heartbreaking, heartwarming and so CAPTIVATING! This book sucked me in from the very beginning and took me on an emotional roller coaster ride. First I need to discuss the amazing writing! Brittainy Cherry has a way of writing strikingly beautiful and REAL sentences that will make you feel. The way she writes just sticks with me. There were multiple times that I had to stop to admire and let the words sink in…so absolutely amazing. Seriously breathtaking.

The main characters, Ashlyn and Daniel, and secondary characters are so well developed. They have detailed backstories that really help to make them real. By being so well developed, I was able to connect with them and feel what they were feeling, making the story INTENSE. There were many times I was so conflicted on who to side with because I understood all of them so well. I was rooting for everyone!

I don’t think I can say enough good things about Brittainy Cherry’s books. She makes me laugh out loud, grin like a fool, breaks my heart and lifts my spirits in EVERY SINGLE book she writes. Bravo Brittainy!
