(Hitman romance, CIA, Heroine in danger, He falls hard, slow burn)
This was an exhilarating read! A great story with action, suspense, lots of tension, steam and spice!
It’s a slow burn, very slow, but that makes the tension absolutely delicious! It gives the time needed to get to know the main characters and their backstories before paying out with spice!
I really enjoyed getting to know Ivy, the female main character (FMC), and learn about her emotional backstory and how she processes her father’s death. She is also trained in self defense and can hold her own! I do love a strong FMC.
I really enjoyed the hitman/CIA story because it kept the story moving and was captivating! Be warned…this ends in a cliffhanger with book two coming this December!
