You do not HAVE to read the other books in this series to follow this story but I HIGHLY recommend doing so. There are characters from other books and I think it really helps to have more context.

This book was so good! It has everything I wanted except it ended too soon! I read it so fast and I wanted MORE! I can’t fault the author for that! I think that speaks volumes for itself though.

This story follows Conor and Ivy. Conor is a rough, tough bad ass. He is loyal and trust worthy. He helps enforce his club rules and punishes those who break them. Ivy is young, innocent and poor. She has nothing. She has been sleeping on the streets and can’t sate her hunger. Her life is rough and it only gets harder. She was associated with a rival gang and when she comes into the strip club, owned by Crow and his men, looking for a job she automatically is flagged.

Conor’s job is simple: watch her and then get rid of her.

Things become even more complicated.

AH! I love this plot. I love that Ivy is young yet a fighter. I love that she is willing to do whatever it takes to take care of herself and others around her. She has a good heart but she is put in a compromising situation. She is walking a thin line and she may not make it out alive. I was rooting for her every step of the way.

Conor. What can I say about this man!? I love how strong and tough he is. He has seen and been apart of some nasty things. His skin is thick but he still has a heart…maybe. Ivy sparks something within him but he knows that his brotherhood comes first.
